Allergy medical ID bracelets & necklaces

An allergy medical ID warns responders before they give you a drug or treatment you react to, and tells them where your EpiPen is. Personalized for free in our Florida studio.

Why an allergy ID matters

In an emergency, staff may give common medications like penicillin, sulfa drugs or latex-based supplies before they can ask you anything. If you are unconscious or your throat is closing, you cannot warn them.

For food and insect allergies, an engraved ID also tells bystanders to look for your epinephrine auto-injector and call 911 right away.

What to include

  • Your name
  • Each serious allergy, starting with "Allergy:" (Allergy: Penicillin)
  • "Anaphylaxis" if you have had a severe reaction
  • Where your EpiPen is ("EpiPen in Bag")
  • An emergency contact (ICE)

Write "Allergy:" before each allergen so it is not mistaken for a condition.

Allergy medical IDs

Comfortable everyday pieces for kids and adults, engraved with your allergies at no extra cost.

Choosing the right piece

  • For kids, choose a band that is easy to clean and hard to take off.
  • Many allergies? Keep the two most serious on your ID and list the rest on a wallet card.
  • Necklaces work well under uniforms or for people who can't wear bracelets.
  • Teens often prefer a watch-band tag or a simple steel bracelet that doesn't look medical.

Questions

How do I engrave a food allergy?

Write the allergen and how serious it is, for example "Severe Nut Allergy" or "Allergy: Shellfish", and where your EpiPen is.

What does NKDA mean?

No known drug allergies. Some people engrave it so responders know common medications are safe.

Should children wear an allergy ID at school?

Many parents choose one so teachers, coaches and staff can act fast. A colorful band your child likes is more likely to stay on.
