Need help with your profile? Visit QR & NFC help or write to us.

Do I need to scan every time I want to update my info?

No. You scan or tap only the first time, to create your profile. To make changes later, open the private link from your "Edit Access Info" email, or request your link and we will email it to you.

Can I change my details if something changes?

Yes, as often as you need. New medicines, allergies or emergency contacts: open your private link, edit and tap Save. Your QR code and NFC chip stay the same.

Is my information secure?

Your information is stored online and only opens when someone scans or taps your piece, and only what you choose to share is shown. Mia.Mia is not a medical service or healthcare provider, and the profile is not covered by HIPAA. See our privacy & terms.

What if my piece shows as already claimed on the first scan?

That shouldn't happen, but if it does, contact us with your order number and we will help you, including a replacement if needed.

What happens if I lose my accessory?

Your profile stays safe online. Use your private link to remove or update information, and contact us if you want to move your profile to a new Mia.Mia piece.

What if the QR code or NFC chip doesn't work?

Try another phone first: most issues come from the camera or the phone's NFC settings. Still not working? Contact us and we will help you.

Do I need batteries or charging?

No. QR codes and NFC chips work without power and are always ready.

Does it replace a medical alert service?

No. It gives first responders and caregivers quick access to your information, but it does not replace professional medical alert or emergency monitoring services.
